From Day One, they receive constant support and encouragement through our Continued Professional Development programme, which equips them with the skills they require in the ever-changing world of automotive glazing. The induction process consists of intensive 'on the job' training and rigorous assessment to ensure our technicians can deliver the high standards our company expects and our customers demand. On-going, regular assessment and additional training via our Automotive Glazing Development Centre is key in maintaining service excellence.
Our Technical Department keeps our Technicians ahead of the game, producing Technical Information Reports - step-by-step guides to fitting procedures. The Department also provides a 24 hour Technical Support Line and is responsible for identifying, testing and evaluating new methods, materials and equipment. The team are committed to continually seek initiatives to improve the technical quality and safety of our glazing processes and services.
The Automotive Glazing Development Centre is now approved to offer the Automotive Technician Accreditation scheme, overseen by the Institute of Motor Industries. And ours is also the only Glass Qualifications Authority-approved Training and NVQ Assessment Centre in the industry.

Auto Windscreens is the first nationwide automotive glazing services provider to receive accreditation from SAFE contractor, an SSIP (Safe Systems in Procurement) scheme that recognises the very highest standards of health and safety practise amongst UK businesses.
All our laminated windscreen repairs are certified for quality to the BS AU 242A standard and are guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle.

Under the SAFE contractor accreditation system, Auto Windscreens went through a vetting process that examined health and safety procedures as well as detailed historic service records for safe practice.
