The Service Underwriting Agency has chosen Auto Windscreens as its preferred supplier of automotive glazing.
A three year deal has been signed by the companies, which will see Auto Windscreens provide a round-the-clock national repair and replacement glazing service to the firm's customers.
Service Underwriting represents a number of insurers, carrying out underwriting, processing, claims handling and auditing activities on their behalf.
The automotive glazing firm will attend to private cars, as well as small commercial vehicles and taxis.
Paul Twilley, Service Underwriting's claims business development manager, said: "We are pleased to have arranged this deal and to have identified a long-term preferred glass supplier in Auto Windscreens."
Earlier this year, the Association of British Insurers revealed that hundreds of millions of pounds have been paid out for vehicle damage caused by the effect that the cold winter weather in December and January had on the UK's roads.
The group estimated that around £395 million was paid out to insured motorists.
