You heard it from Auto Windscreens, the big news in Auto Window Glass.
The Ford Focus RS has been voted Car of the Year 2009 by Nuts magazine.
Adam Ralph, deputy editor at Nuts magazine, said: "Our readers felt the Focus RS represented all that a young bloke looked for in a new car - it's affordable, a real head turner and ridiculously good fun to drive."
Earlier this month the Ford Focus RS was voted Scottish 'sporting' Car of the Year 2009 at the 12th annual Association of Scottish Motoring Writers Awards.
The vehicle was chosen over eight other contenders, including the Audi R8 V10 and the Nissan 370Z, by a panel of 17 Scottish journalists who carefully looked over every detail of the cars from their windscreens to the interiors.
Bill Caven, president of the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers, presented the award and said the Ford Focus RS's combination of "power, poise and affordability makes it a worthy class winner".
According to Ford, more than 2,000 orders have been placed for the vehicle and this number is set to increase further thanks to the recent awards.
