Motoring enthusiasts heading to this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed will be given the chance to help a renowned brand prepare for its centenary year.
Alfa Romeo will turn 100 in 2010 and is to have an 8C Spider model take to the track as part of this year's event to celebrate its 99th anniversary.
The motor will be joined on the famous course by other milestone motors in the marque's history.
Included in the display will be the 1953 Mille Miglia runner up 6C 3000 CM and the 1975 World Manufacturer's title-winning 33 TT 12.
Visitors will also be able to peer through the windscreen of two concept cars - the 1968 Alfa Carabo and the 1978 Najavo.
The former was recognised as an important marker in the field of supercar design, while the latter showed the firm's switch to more effective aerodynamics.
Meanwhile, the auto maker recently revealed one of its latest customers is England polo team member Henry Brett, who now owns an Alfa Brera S V6.
