Peugeot 3008, with panoramic windscreen, named Car of the Year

Peugeot's new crossover, which has a panoramic windscreen, has been named Car of the Year, by What Car? magazine.
The 33rd What Car? Awards named the vehicle, which blends the looks of a 4x4 with a family hatchback, as Car of the Year 2010.
Steve Fowler, editor of What Car?, said: "Crossover cars will be big news in the next few years with people who want the look and feel of a 4x4, but without the financial and environmental costs."
He went on to say that the 3008 is the "perfect" vehicle to meet these demands.
Other winners at the awards were the Peugeot 5008 and Audi TT, named best MPV and best coupe respectively.
Volkswagen's Polowon the Supermini award and the company's Golf won the best small family car accolade.
One of the features of the Peugeot 3008 that the judges meay have been impressed by is its panoramic 'Cielo' glass roof, made of tinted and laminated car glass.
