James Nash and Tom Chilton face another uphill challenge this weekend when they line up for the last race of the European leg of the FIA World Touring Car Championship. The two Team Aon drivers will once again be tackling a circuit for the first time, and they have turned to the simulator to get up to speed on Portugal's Autodromo Internacional do Algarve. The pair will get to drive on the real-life version - an 18 corner, 4.692km route in southern Spain – for the first time on Saturday morning during the two free practice sessions. Chilton said: "Once again we're going to a track that we've never competed at before so it's going to be another challenge for the whole team but I'm looking forward to it. "Having driven the circuit on the simulator it looks as though it's a great track it should be exciting to drive the car around." But despite both drivers lacking experience at the Algarve circuit, they are looking to increase their points haul for the season, and get their cars into the second round of qualifying. Nash said: "We've continued to make progress with developing the car which has shown with our improving qualifying and race finishes. "We've passed the mid-way point in the season so I think we can be pleased to have picked up points considering we’ve never been to these tracks before."
