New VW Passat with sound-insulating windscreen starts nationwide tour

Volkswagen's new Passat has started a nationwide tour, showing off its impressive features, such as a sound-insulating windscreen, to small businesses and fleets at business parks across the country.
It started the 50-day road show on Monday (January 24th) in Aylesbury and will visit all four corners of England.
A hospitality unit hosted by staff from local Volkswagen retailers will accompany the tour, providing visitors to the road show with complimentary refreshments.
"[Visitors] will also be able to talk to trained Volkswagen representatives who will be on hand to talk through the competitive contract hire and finance packages available," a statement from the car manufacturer reads.
The first examples of the new Passat went on sale earlier this month, with prices starting at £18,875 for the saloon and £20,175 for the estate.
Earlier this month, the new mid-sized sedan made its debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The vehicle is set to be produced in an all-new factory in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
