Expanding Service Network in Response to Soaring ADAS Calibration Demand

Monday, 12 May 2025

Auto Windscreens has significantly expanded its UK service network in response to a 300% surge in demand for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibrations since 2019.

The company has opened three new service centres in Burton-on-Trent, Salisbury, and Caernarfon, addressing the growing need for calibration services and halving drive times for customers in more rural areas.

To support increasing demand in urban centres, Auto Windscreens has also relocated sites in Birmingham, Carlisle, and Harlow to larger premises. These locations now handle between 40-50% of windscreen replacement jobs, reflecting the widespread adoption of ADAS technology in modern vehicles.

Sean Draycott, Operations Director, commented:

“We’ve targeted these locations due to the sheer volume of work we were seeing there. The new sites have already enabled us to undertake a higher-than-average number of calibrations overall in these areas and have reduced the distance customers need to travel for their booking. They align perfectly with our continued growth strategy for the rest of the year, which will kick off with the opening of a further five sites in Chelmsford, Barnstaple, Banbury, Glasgow and Dunfermline.”
