Auto Windscreens’ Head of ADAS honoured at top 40 ‘Women of Influence’ awards
Auto Windscreens’ Head of ADAS, Helen Keenan has been named as one of the top 40 female automotive sector influencers at ABP (Auto Body Professionals) Club’s inaugural ‘Women of Influence’ event.
Helen and her cohorts received their awards at 3M Loughborough on Tuesday (2nd April) in recognition of the leadership positions they hold within vehicle repair businesses and to encourage more women into the sector by “highlighting the diverse range of roles that women hold across a wide range of companies”. The event was held as part of ABP Club’s Women’s Automotive, a networking group developed to support women who aspire to become the next generation of UK body repair industry leaders.
At Auto Windscreens, Helen is responsible for the introduction of its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) recalibration solution. The pioneering initiative is unique in the UK and uses a network of over 4,000 manufacturer-approved dealerships and bodyshops to provide customers with a recalibration service that guarantees vehicle functionality and driver safety after an ADAS windscreen is replaced.
“I’m extremely proud to have received this accolade,” said Helen. “Women within our sector play a crucial role in advancing businesses, processes and innovation. It is brilliant that this is being recognised by ABP Club and I hope to see more women seek careers within our industries.”
