Auto Windscreens introduces first of its kind ‘Technician Tracker’

Thursday, 13 Jul 2017

Auto Windscreens has become the first windscreen repair and replacement provider in the UK to introduce a ‘Technician Tracker’ to enhance its customer journey.

The tracker, available to all customers, has been implemented to keep people informed on their scheduled appointments from booking to completion.

An hour after a job has been scheduled, a text will be sent sharing a link to the tracker. There, people can view either ‘Your Information’ which will include job location and work requested or ‘Your Technician’ which will include information on the technician and job status.

The key element to the platform is that customers will be able to track the technician’s journey for their booking once they are ‘en route’ ensuring they are kept informed on progress.

Rupert Armitage, Auto Windscreens’ Managing Director, commented: “We pride ourselves on being an innovative organisation and are thrilled to be the first to have introduced this technology. The tracker further cements our dedication to providing the best service possible and means the customer is updated every step of the journey.”
