Auto Windscreens reaches new levels of health and safety
We are pleased to announce that Auto windscreens is now certified to ISO 45001 - the world's first global health and safety management system. As an international standard, ISO 45001 crosses geographic, political, economic, commercial and social boundaries. This sets a single benchmark for the management of occupational health and safety whilst protecting and enhancing our most important assets, our people. This new standard can help deliver the following benefits:
- increases our organisational resilience through proactive risk prevention, innovation and continual improvement
- strengthens our legal and regulatory compliance whilst reducing business losses
- demonstrates brand responsibility by our commitment to safe, healthy and sustainable work
- confirms our compliance to health and safety law
The ISO 45001 management system will sit alongside our quality and environmental management systems - ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Spencer Jones Operations Director for Auto Windscreens said, “by achieving the ISO 45001 certification, our operations and health and safety teams have demonstrated that they will work tirelessly to achieve the H&S standards that our partners, employees and customers demand. With this certification, Auto Windscreens’ technology, people and process have been vetted against rigid H&S standards outlined by ISO, and we’re delighted to have achieved this accreditation.”
