Staff at Auto Windscreens have helped raise over £1,000 for The Movember Foundation by ditching their razors throughout November to ‘grow a Mo’.

Staff at Auto Windscreens have helped raise over £1,000 for The Movember Foundation by ditching their razors throughout November to ‘grow a Mo’.

Alongside colleagues from parent company, Markerstudy Group, employees of Auto Windscreens volunteered to fundraise for the cause by growing their most impressive moustaches for Movember, a month-long challenge which aims to raise awareness of men’s health.

Rupert Armitage, Auto Windscreens’ Managing Director, took part alongside other senior team members. He said: “We, having a largely male workforce, are keen to promote men’s health. It’s been great fun seeing colleagues’ groomed facial masterpieces and I suspect some may choose to keep their new ‘furry’ look.”

Movember takes place every November and is organised by The Movember Foundation, a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. So far the organisation has raised millions and funded programmes focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.
