Celebrating at the SHE Awards
We are very pleased to have received the ‘Safer Logistics Award’ at the Safety and Health Excellence Awards 2022, alongside Bruce Bahlaj, Health and Safety Manager, being highly commended in the ‘Health and Safety Manager of the Year’ category.
The awards recognise innovation and achievements in health and safety. Our entry focused on our move to hybrid working, ISO standards, and how the addition of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems calibrations was added to these, making us unique in the market.
It described the work of the business and Health and Safety Manager, Bruce Bahlaj, in overhauling processes, audits and introducing new products and training courses at the company. Shaun Atton, Business Support Director, said: “Over the past 18 months Bruce has been instrumental in keeping Auto Windscreens open for business, ensuring employees and customers remain as safe as possible and has continually improved health, safety and wellbeing with innovative ideas.”
Bruce commented: “I’m so proud Auto Windscreens has been recognised in these awards. It means so much after implementing new processes and initiatives which have helped keep people safe in the most difficult of times. We’re very proud of where we are and what we’ve achieved as a business - we’re clearly going places!”
