Going carbon neutral

Tuesday, 4 Feb 2020

We’re proud to have been officially carbon neutral now for two years and so far we’ve offset more than 11,600 tonnes of CO2 emissions. As part of this campaign, we’re working with BP’s Target Neutral programme to make it easier for staff to offset their emissions.

In November, we held the first of our quarterly internal two-hour surgeries showing how to measure and offset carbon emissions produced by car, flight, bus and rail journeys. This is achieved by buying carbon credits used to fund carbon reduction projects across the globe, including forest protection in Zambia, cook stove distribution in Mexico and hydropower development in China.
