We’ve introduced Panther Tool’s Panther Fit-Glass, a lifting tool to aid removal and refitting, across our network. The system enables one of our technicians to precision lift large HGV, LGV and car glass during replacements, a job which would have previously required two technicians.

During our initial trial, one technician completed 42 replacements over 12 weeks using the technology, demonstrating its potential to add value to our customers. The equipment takes just two minutes to set up and is easy to manoeuvre using a handheld controller.

Technicians who would have been required to support colleagues can now be deployed to other appointments, improving our lead times, overall cost-effectiveness and increasing the availability of our skilled resource.
