Staff ‘grow a mo’ for Movember

Tuesday, 1 Nov 2016

It’s all about moustaches for Movember at Auto Windscreens this month!

Handlebars, horseshoes and pencils… it’s all about moustaches for Movember at Auto Windscreens this month!

Staff from across the company have volunteered to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK by growing their most impressive ‘tashes for the charity challenge, which starts today and aims to raise awareness of men’s health throughout November.

Rupert Armitage, Auto Windscreens’ Managing Director, will be taking part. He said: “We have a predominantly male workforce so Movember is especially relevant to us, being all about the promotion of men’s wellbeing and health. In addition growing their moustaches, we’re also challenging staff to ‘Dare to Dye’ them, which should make for some great photos!”

Movember takes place every November and is organised by The Movember Foundation, a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. So far the organisation has raised millions and funded programmes focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.
