Supporting LEBBS with vital repair
Auto Windscreens recently came to the aid of Lincolnshire Emergency Blood Bikes Service (LEBBS), a volunteer-run charity that provides emergency transportation of blood, breast milk, medical samples and equipment to NHS hospitals across Lincolnshire and beyond.
When LEBBS’ Skoda Octavia, a key operational and events vehicle, suffered a cracked windscreen, Auto Windscreens stepped in to supply and fit a replacement free of charge.
The repair was undertaken by our Head of Technical and Training, Tony Green, who also volunteers with LEBBS in his spare time, undertaking deliveries on one of their motorcycles.
Neville Wright, Chairman of LEBBS, said:
“We are eternally grateful to Tony Green and Auto Windscreens for supplying and fitting a new windscreen. This vehicle is vital to our emergency courier work for NHS in Lincolnshire and beyond.”
In 2024, LEBBS carried out 2,673 jobs thanks to the dedication of 140 volunteers. Auto Windscreens is proud to support their invaluable service and help keep their volunteers on the move.
