Auto Windscreens introduces CitNOW to bolster transparency with partners

Friday, 8 Dec 2017

Auto Windscreens announced they will adopt CitNOW technology to enhance and aid transparency with their insurance partners.

As part of the ‘Auto Windscreens End of Year Innovation Conference’, the automotive glass repair and replacement provider announced they will be adopting CitNOW technology to enhance and aid transparency with their insurance partners.

Taking place at the business’s newest fitting hub in Northampton, Rupert Armitage, Managing Director of Auto Windscreens, announced the partnership alongside Gordon Grant, Global Sales Director at CitNOW, in front of an audience of insurance and broker partners, key suppliers and media.

From January 2018, every technician will be able to video the vehicle whilst they are pre-repairing the glass. This footage will then made available to partners, ensuring security and transparency on every vehicle inspection.

The announcement follows Auto Windscreen’s yearlong education campaign around ADAS as well as the implementation of a ‘technician tracker’ and most recently the introduction of the Plant team to expand their offering.

Rupert Armitage comments: “We pride ourselves on being an innovative organisation and providing the best service to our partners. CitNOW are well respected within the industry and we’re delighted to have aligned ourselves with them, to help us provide a more seamless journey for our clients.”

Gordon Grant comments: “We are delighted to be working with Auto Windscreens on this initiative. Video based Condition Assessment reporting adds a new and exciting dimension to the CitNOW suite of products and services, and will simultaneously drive more efficiency and transparency into the Auto Windscreens process”.
