More people than ever are choosing to start their careers with Auto Windscreens, with the company's apprenticeship scheme attracting 1,084 applications this year.

The increase reflects growing interest in vocational career pathways and hands on learning opportunities, with applications for Auto Windscreens' contact centre and automotive glazing technician apprenticeships already 8% higher than the total received during 2025. Interest in contact centre opportunities has been particularly strong, with applications more than tripling compared to 2023.

The rise mirrors a wider national trend, with more people exploring alternatives to traditional higher education and seeking opportunities to earn, learn and develop valuable workplace skills at the same time.

Auto Windscreens is recruiting for up to 17 apprenticeship positions, with successful candidates due to begin their roles later this month. Opportunities are available within the company's Derbyshire based contact centre and throughout its nationwide network of service centres.

Apprenticeships have helped shape careers across Auto Windscreens for many years, with many colleagues progressing from trainee roles into specialist and leadership positions. In fact, three of the company's five leadership team members began their journeys with Auto Windscreens as trainees, including Managing Director James MacBeth.

As Auto Windscreens prepares to welcome its latest intake, the business looks forward to supporting the next generation of talent as they begin their careers.
