Auto Windscreens revealed as main sponsor of AFC Rushden & Diamonds
AFC Rushden & Diamonds is proud and delighted to announce Auto Windscreens, a leading automotive glass repair and replacement company, as its new Main Club Sponsor for the 2017/2018 season.
It’s an exciting time for the club who have not only enjoyed a great season but are now associated with a well-known national company. As part of the deal, the Auto Windscreens logo will be emblazoned on the Diamonds’ home, away and new third shirts for the upcoming season and will be available via the club shop from July.
John Gregory, AFC Rushden & Diamonds Commercial Director, said: “We always knew finding a new Main Club Sponsor was going to be a difficult job; however the Board could not be more delighted to have secured a new partnership with Auto Windscreens. They are such a well-known brand across the UK through their fleet of mobile fitters and newly opened Fitting Centres. With the club’s move back to Rushden, it is an ideal time for our new Main Club Sponsor to be associated with the club. I know our move will generate great local interest and also within grass roots football as a whole in the coming months. I’d like to welcome Auto Windscreens to our football family”
The club would like to particularly thank Auto Windscreens’ Managing Director Rupert Armitage who commented “We’re excited to be supporting AFC Rushden & Diamonds after what has been a great season for the club, seeing the first team returning to the Southern League. With hubs in Milton Keynes and Peterborough, we feel it’s important to support the local and surrounding areas and we’re looking forward to seeing the teams in their Auto Windscreens-branded shirts!”
